Functional tech-textiles that care
Textiles could do so much more than only cover your body. It could keep track of your health, give power to your empty batteries, connects to your environment or give you empowering encouragements.
Danielle will be present at 20-10 from 11-18h to talk to you about the project and the exhibition. More info.

Home smart home
The kit is part of the exhibition Home smart home by VPRO Medialab. In the Albert Van Abbehuis, VPRO Medialab explores the future of living together with smart devices at home. In the CONNECT room you can see the newest devices that improve how we run our households.
Danielle will give a demo on Tuesday 23-10 from 14-17h. More info.

MLEK at QS-NL

Tuesday October 9th Danielle Roberts will be presenting MLEK from a Quantified Self perspective. She will talk about the project, what we have done so far and what was learned from that. This is the whole schedule for the evening:

At the Eindhoven Maker Faire

At the Faire on September 29 and 30 Danielle Roberts will be presenting Meditation Lab Experimenter Kit. But you can also experience Soft Meditation: a 10 minute meditation performance based on live meditation data. Visitors are invited to take part in a small research to measure the effects of the performance.
The artist wants to create a community around this Open Source project and is looking forward to talk to makers and other interested people. Please visit my stand C132 in the Klokgebouw at Strijp-S!

The Fashion Colloquium: Searching for the New Luxury

On Friday June 1st Vera de Pont and Danielle Roberts will be presenting at the conference The Fashion Colloquium: Searching for the New Luxury.

Our presentation Silence Suit: sustainably integrating spirituality and technology will be about the multiple layers of sustainability and empowerment which are present in the project Meditation Lab Experimenter Kit and Silence Suit especially.
It is a two day conference which is free of charge. There are still tickets available but you do need to register. You can find more information and register at their website.
